Places in the Dragon Ball World
Here is a list of the many places in the Dragonball world. I tried to get them in the order that the appeared in the manga or anime. If I had left something out, please, e-mail me.

Mount Paozu
This is where Goku lived all his life, with his grandfater, Chi chi, Gohan, and Goten. He meets Bulma here for the first time.

Grandpa Gohan's House
This is where the grandpa Son Gohan lived, while living with Son Goku. It is very small, but seems enough for two people. It is on top of Mount Paozu. Goku lived here until he meet Bulma and went on his adventures with her.

Goku's House
Once Goku and Chi chi got married, they made a house and started to live here. It is fairly close to his old house, and is right next to a river on Mount Paozu.

Kame House
Located south in a ocean, Muten Roshi lives here. Krillin and Lunch here for a short while, until after the Piccolo Daimo Saga, and they both move out. Krillin then moves back in later. This place seems like the place everyone meets for a get together. It is also the place where they can stay here and not be seen by enemies so they can plan their next move.

Village
This is a village that was never given a name. It is shown as "Village" on a sign on the top. This is where Oolong is first seen, when he was terrorizing and trying to get young girls. It is never seen again.

Yamcha's desert
This is where Yamcha lives during the very beginning of the Dragonball series. He lives here in a place that is classified as very hot and very dangerous. If Yamcha spots you here, he steals your money and hoi poi capsules and leaves you stranded, so he can wait for the next victom.

Mount FryPan
This is where Ox King and Chi chi lived in the Dragonball series for a short while. On top of the mountain, there is Ox Kings castle which holds great tresures. There is a village at the bottem, which is assumed that Ox King destroyed. During a picnic at the bottem of the mountain, Ox King and Chi chi got stranded by a fire engulfing the entire top of the mountain. Muton Roshi puts it out with a Kamehameha, and destroys the entire mountain. In the anime, Ox King re-builds the village, and serves as the protector.

The Mushroom Village
A small village that is west of Mount FryPan. The area is mostly covered by large and tall mushrooms. This is the village that Boss Rabbit was terrorizing.

Pilaf's Castle
Pilaf lives here with his two counterparts, Shuu and Mai. The live in a castle that is filled with dangerous traps and dead ends, to trap any one they want. Shenlong is called forth here for the first time in the Dragon Ball series.

Muten Roshi's training island
A farily large island, in which Munten Roshi trains his pupils to get ready for any sort of goal they want for each of them. He gives them a wide variety of tasks to do, every day of their lives, until he thinks the training is complete. Goku, Krillin, Lunch, and Munten Roshi have visited this island.

Papaya Island/Tenkaichi Budoukai
An island which is in the south seas, where many people meet every three years to compete in a tournament called, Tenkaichi Budoukai. It is called in an English translation, The World's Best Martial Arts Tournament. The whole reason for the tournament is to see who is the strongest in the world, at least, for the next three years. It is a one-on-one competition, where there is a time limit in the first round, and a no time limit in the finals. There are five Budoukai's total in the DB Z/GT series, with the last two being cut short, due to Buu and Goku leaving with Ubuu.

Namu's Village
Namu, a finialist in the Budoukai, comes to fight to try and buy water for his village. His village lives in a hot part of the world, and is currently under a drought. He later finds out from Muten Roshi, that water is free and can be put in a capsule.

Silver Taisa's camp
A small camp with commander Silver there, looking for the dragonballs. He meets Goku here and fights him, and loses. It is a small area with very few trees and plenty of hills.

Jingle Village
This village is in the far north of the world, where Goku comes to find a Dragonball. After his plane crashed, Snow, a citizen of the village, comes to his rescue. He is warmed up and ready to go against Muscle Tower, where he goes to save the Mayor.

Muscle Tower
This is a humongeous tower, that has six levels in it. It is owned by the Red Ribbon, and Lieutenant White is the head boss of the tower, and the strongest in it too. He holds the Mayor at the top. There is a new challenge in each floor, and each one gets harder than the last. He finally gets the mayor and makes friends with Android 8, who Goku names 8-Chan.

West City
A large, technical city that is located in the western part of the world. Bulma lives here with her parents. Capsule Corporation
A large mansion where Bulma lives. Her father invinted the hoi poi capsules, and turned out to be very very rich. Bulma invents her own inventions her, along with her other electronic servants.

The Underwater Pirate Cavern
A large cavern that cannot be seen easily. Bulma, Krillin, and Goku went into the cavern to try and find a Dragonball.Upon entering, they were met with all sorts of traps and dangerous guards. The Red Ribbon followed them in, causing search to be a little harder.

Lieutenant Blue's camp
This is the place where Lieutenant Blue was stationed while searching for the Dragonball. It is found in an underwater cavern, near the underwater pirate cavern.
Penguin Village
One of Akira Toriyama's earlier manga's. This village is inhabited by the people of Dr. Slump. Here, Goku fights Blue, and, gets to meet some of the people of the village. Arale, the main character of Dr. Slump, gets to help Goku out, by knocking Blue out.

Land of the Holy Korin
A place that cannot be seen well, unless you look for the tower. Bora and Upa, both Indians, live at the base of the tower, guarding a Dragonball. Korin, a wise and holy cat, and Kami, guardian of the Earth at the present time, live in the tower. Goku meets Bora, Upa, Tao Pai Pai, and a new Dragonball in his search against the Red Ribbon, here for the first time. Gotenks and Super Buu also fought here.

Korin's Tower
A very tall and skinny tower that goes as high as the clouds. In fact, this is where the Kintoun, Nimbus, live. Korin, the wise and holy cat, lives here and plants and grows senzu beans. He even guards the Holy Water and the Super Holy Water. Where he lives, he can see the entire world and can watch to see what is going on. Goku and Muten Roshi came here to train with Korin.

Tenkai/World in the Heavens/Kami's Tower
This is where the present and past Kami's and Mister Popo live. A very high palace that is far above Korin Tower. Kami and Mister Popo live here, while watching and guarding the whole world. To get there in the Dragon Ball series, Goku had to use his Nyobo to get to the top. Like the Kame House, it is a good place to meet while powerful villains try and destroy the Earth.

Room of Space and Time/Hyperbolic Time Chamber
It is located in Kami's Tower Actually, and goes into another room where there is void all around someone. It is a very, very large room, where there is endlessness all around the person that is in there. There is a large building for a bed, food, and bath. The tempatures can greatly increase and decrease. Some temepatures are 122 F to -40 F. There is great gravity in there, causeing it to be ten times the normal gravity of Earth. Only one to two people can enter at one time. It also has a very special use for training. One year in that room equals one day on Earth. It makes a great place to train while a villain is trying to destroy the Earth.

The Town where Tao Pai Pai's New Clothes
When Tao Pai Pai thought he killed Goku, he needed to get new clothes in a town close by. His clothes were torn and tarnished, due to Goku fireing a Kamehameha at him. He tells the man to get him new clothes and the man says it will take one week. Tao Pai Pai said he wanted them in three days or he will kill him. The tailor makes new clothes, but is killed anyway. In this time, Goku trains with Korin by trying to get the Holy Water.

Red Ribbon Army Base
A very large and big fortress that is guarded around every corner. The main purpose of the Red Ribbon is to conquer the world. That is why they wanted to stop Goku. Goku attacks the base and single handedly defeats everyone there. This is where the Dragonballs were kept, and Goku tries and gets them. Upon Black, General Red's right hand man, hearing that Red wanted the Dragonballs to become taller, he kills him, and calls it the Black Ribbon Army now. Goku fights Black, and kills him.

The Town where Goku Bought New Clothes
After Goku came back from the Red Ribbon fight, his clothes were torn up. So, Yamcha, Krillin, and Upa, while going to Urani Baba's palace, bought him brand new clothes.

Urani Baba's Palace
Urani Baba tells the future to anyone who wishes, for a total of 10,000,000 zeni. If you don't have that much, then you must fight her five championship dead fighters. The first two you have to fight in a mini-ring. And the second two you have to fight in The Demon's Toilet, a pool of acids and gases. Above the pools, are two gargoyles that you must fight on and can't fall off. The last one is the hardest of them all, and is back in the mini-ring. Goku couldn't afford it so he had to fight the five fighters.

Goku vs. Pilaf and minions
After finding out from Urani Baba where the last Dragonball is, Goku went to go get it. He ran into Pilaf, Shuu, and Mai along the way, who had the ball. They agreed the winner of the fight they would have would get the Dragonball. Goku won easily.

Yahhoi
A place where Goku trained for the next three years of his life, until the next Tenkaichi Budoukai. He swam from here all the way to Papaya Island.

Yajirobe's Home
After trying to kill Tambourine, Goku fell into Yajirobe's home, in the jungle. He landed here, in this jungle. After being awakened to cooked fish, Goku went to eat it, with Yajirobe coming to find it being eaten. Goku apologized, and Yajirobe was very hungry. Yajirobe killed Cymbol, who was looking for a Dragonball, in an attempt to get some food. Yajirobe gave Goku the Dragonball here.

Giran's Village
This is a village where Gian lived. Tambourine went here to kill him, and did by sticking his hand straight through his chest, in an attempt to kill all the best fighters in the world.

Battle between Piccolo Daimo and Muten Roshi
An attempt to try and seal Piccolo Daimo in the Denshi Jar again, Muten Roshi came here trying to do so. Piccolo and him fought for a while, just before Piccolo Daimo swallowed the Dragonballs whole. Muten Roshi tried to do the Mafuba, an attack which brings evil into a jar, but failed, costing his own life. Piccolo then called forth Shenlong, got his wish of immortally young, killed Shenlong, and left.

Central City
A place where the King of the world lives, and lives in a spot called, King's Palace. It is a fairly large building, that is guarded by tons of the King's guards. Piccolo Daimo came here looking to see if he could kill all the King's guards and then hold the King in ransom, he could rule the world. He does so, but, Goku comes and kills him.

Radditz's Landing
When Radditz came to Earth to find his brother, Goku, he came upon a farmer who was on his land. The farmer tried to shoot him, but, Radditz caught it, and flung it back, killing the farmer. That last statement is not true, because we see the farmer time and time again in the anime. In the manga and anime, at the point and time, he is killed.

Piccolo and Radditz in the Mountains
After reading a large power level, Radditz went to find Goku, but found Piccolo. Piccolo tried to kill him, but, failed, and Radditz left, finding the real Goku.

Gohan's Training Grounds
This is where Gohan trained for the time being that he was here with Piccolo. No one lives here, except for a couple of wildlife and some dinosaurs. Nappa and Vegeta also come here to fight the Z-Fighters. East City
A large city in the Eastern part of the world. Vegeta and Nappa land here, and, after receiving permission to do so from Vegeta, Nappa uplifts the entire city.

Vegeta and Goku's Battle Grounds
The very spot where Vegeta and Goku fought. Yajirobe happened to be there at the time, and Gohan and Krillin came out to help. With their help, Goku was able to defeat Vegeta, with his son, as a giant ape, squashing him.

Yunzabitt
A frozen part of the world, where high chilled winds blow. This is the spot where Kami fell from his spaceship into Earth. He spent some of his life here, leaving his ship be at its place. After many years of leaving the ship there, Mister Popo found it, and, with Bulma's help, went to Jupiter in a couple seconds. This ship let them go to Namek.

Freeza's Place of Landing
Freeza came to Earth, to try and get revenge on Goku, for doing what he did to him. Goku came three hours after his landing, but Freeza couldn't wait for him in that time. So, he let his men go and kill every Earthling on the planet. Trunks came just in time, to kill his men and Freeza.

Goku's Place of Landing
After about three hours, Goku came and landed back on Earth, after a full year's time. Here, the Z-Fighters meet Trunks, the warrior of the future, for the first time.

South City
A very large city in the southern part of the world, on an island. No one in the anime or manga goes to this spot ever.

Android 19 and 20's Apperance
A small island that is located near South City. This is where Androids 19 and 20 meet for the first time in the anime and manga. Luckily, from Trunks, the Z-Fighters came early for the fight. Even though they got their early, they couldn't stop the Androids from destroying the town. In Trunks timeline, Androids 17 and 18 come, instead of 19 and 20.

Android 19's Battle Spot
Goku came here in an attempt to try and save the rest of the city, to fight Android 19. However, due to the heart virus, he couldn't fight, so Vegeta concluded the fight for him, destroying 19 with a Big Bang Attack.

The North Capital
A very large city that Krillin, Teinshinhan, and Piccolo head toward while trying to find Android 20 and Dr. Gero's Lab.

Dr. Gero's Lab
Dr. Gero's lab is outside of North City, where, he planned and built Android 16, 17, 18, 19, and himself. When he had to retreat, he went back to his lab to activate Android 17 and 18, so he could get everyone back. After Android 18 threatened to activate Android 16, Trunks blew up the lab. But, below the lab, where he made Android 13, 14, 15, and Cell.

Vegeta vs. Android 18 Battle Grounds
Vegeta chased the Androids when the left Dr. Gero's lab, for a fight. He tried to fight Android 18, but, didn't have very much luck. Soon, he started to get beat up bad, and Trunks came in. This is when everyone got beat up. Android 17 then interfered. Then Piccolo. Then Tien. Krillin just stayed behind though. Everyone got beat up, then, the Androids left.

Android 18's New Clothes Town
After the fight with Vegeta, Android 18 had to go to a Western town to get new clothes. She didn't find anything she liked, but, she found an outfit any way, and left without paying.

Gingertown
A tiny city near West City. Cell came here right after he got out of his shell, to absorb humans. Mysteriously, everyone in the town vanished, due to Cell. Picollo came here to fight him, but, Cell got away, by hiding his power.

Cell's Point of Arrival
When Cell killed Trunks in the future, he took his time machine. Later, when he got out of the maching, he went underground. 24 years later, he came back out, and attacked Gingertown. Gohan, Bulma, and Trunks found the old Time Machine, the egg, and shell of Cell at this site.

Android 17 vs. Piccolo Battle Grounds
Piccolo brought the Androids here, to try and kill them before Cell went to his perfect form. After a long fight between Android 17, Cell came, and postponed the fight, to try and fight Cell. Later, Cell was thought to have gone, when, Android 17 was tricked, and absorbed, letting Cell go to his perfect form.

Island of Cell's Perfect Form
After fighting Vegeta, Cell saw Android 18 and absorbed her right away. After he absorbed her, he went after Vegeta, and beat him up. Soon, he beat Trunks up here as well.

The Cell Game
After fighting Trunks, Cell wanted his own little Tenkaichi Budoukai, except, he called it the Cell Game. Here, there were two different rules of the Tenkaichi Budoukai. There is no ten count rule if you are down and the only challanger is Cell. The rules he made up is, if you lose, you die or you get thrown out. Cell went to a remote area, where no one lived. He made a very large ring and four pillars that had spikes at the end of each one. After the ring was destroyed, he no longer wanted the Cell Game, so he could fight at a larger range.

Parsley City
A small town near West City. After the Cell Game, Trunks went back in time, and fought Andriod 17 and 18. He killed them both and then killed Cell.
Satan City
After Mr. Satan "kills" Cell, his hometown is renamed in his own name, Satan City. This is where Gohan goes to school with Videl, Shapner, and Ireza, in Oarnge Star High School. Satan City is also where Gohan becomes, Great Saiyaman, a super hero and protector of the city.

Babidi's Spaceship
A very large rocket that is dug into the ground. The ship has several stages on it that let you fight different fighters on each level. These levels are connected by a long pipe in the middle of the room. Babidi can also transport anyone to any part of the ship as he chooses. At the base of the ship is Buu's egg. All the energy that is lost during a battle, is absorbed into the wall, and sent to Buu's egg, so he can have energy to get out.
Goku vs. Majin Vegeta Battle Grounds
After Vegeta let himself be controlled by Babidi so he could have more power, Goku and Vegeta fought in another area. They both were Super Saiyan 2 and had a very powerful fight. The energy was needed to Buu could be revived.

Mister Buu's House
After using clay to make his own home, Buu starts to live here. He stays here for a while, until some thugs come along and turn him into Super Buu, causeing him to go into world wide chaos.
